Run for Rieke

One of our biggest fund raisers is our Run for Rieke. It was moved to September this year and will be taking place on Friday, September 28. It’s a whole school event with all students running (or walking) as many laps as possible around the Wilson High School track in 30 minutes. Grades K-2 will run from 1:30-2 and grades 3-5 will run from 2:10-2:40. Watch for pledge sheets to be coming home. All of the money raised goes to the All Hands Raised Foundation which Rieke then uses for additional staffing support.

Picture Day

Order forms were sent home, but extras are available in the office.  All students will have their picture taken because it's a safety measure that their picture is entered into the Student Information System.

Back to School Night

From Principal Lewins:

This is your opportunity to hear from your child’s teacher about his or her program and the plan for the school year. It will also be an chance for you to sign up for a Parent Teacher conference time that will be taking place Nov. 19 and 20th. We are not able to offer childcare since it is our largest parent attended event and we have no available space. It is very much an adult oriented evening. Students can come but the information is geared for parents and guardians.
