The PTA is happy to launch a new fundraiser with Equal Exchange, a locally owned worker cooperative that distributes fairly traded coffee and tea, chocolate, and snacks! You can order on our website and co-owner Jessie Myszka, a Rieke mom, will arrange centralized pickups at school.

We expect this to be an ongoing fundraiser by the holidays, with a wide selection of treats, but for now we're starting with organic mini chocolates for Halloween. This 2-minute video explains "Why Fair Trade Chocolate Matters." To purchase, order at the PTA fundraising store by Sunday, October 24. Pick up will be Wednesday, October 27, outdoors at Rieke between 3:15-4:30 pm.
