OFFICE HELP

Our wonderful secretary, Lynda, needs a real break at lunch which is hard to do when kids still need help and phones need answered. Volunteer weekly (same day or any day) from 12:00-1:00pm to allow Lynda eat her lunch in peace.

LIBRARY HELP

Help our wonderful librarian, Amy, have more time for teaching by re-shelving library books for her. You can listen to podcasts in your headphones while completing this task it’s so easy peasy. You do not need to volunteer at the same time every week, but when it works with your schedule.

LUNCH SORTERS

Our Green Team is growing and developing. Principal Jeans is still seeking two lunch EA’s to join the team, so if you have some time during the middle of the day to work with us, please let the office know. We are now able to recycle all the milk cartons that are used every day because of the help of our EAs and volunteers.

READING BUDDIES

Looking for a Few Good Readers ! The Rieke Reading Buddy Program is designed to help 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students improve their literacy skills by giving them the opportunity to read aloud, one-on-one, to an adult volunteer. Volunteers model the joy of reading, while supporting the child's efforts to read independently. The Rieke Reading Buddy Program is seeking volunteers! This is the perfect opportunity for parents, grandparents, and neighbors. The time commitment is 20-30 minutes per week, and we often can use volunteers at the following times: Start of the school day, 8:45-9:15. Right after lunch, 12:15-12:45. End of the school day, 2:30-3:00.
